Ducati

Motorcycle-branded Italian masculines focused on fresh, sporty woods at accessible prices.

About Ducati

Ducati fragrances extend the heritage of the Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati, founded in 1926 in Bologna by Antonio Cavalieri Ducati and his sons Adriano, Bruno and Marcello. While the company is globally recognized for high performance motorcycles, its move into perfumery is a licensed project, developed in partnership with Italian toiletries specialist So.Di.Co. through its Diamond International arm.

The first Ducati-branded fragrance line appeared around 2010, aligning the scent concept with themes familiar to the bike brand: speed, dynamism and Italian style. Early releases such as Ducati Ducati (2010) and Fight For Me were followed by Ducati 1926, which references the company’s founding year, and Ducati Sport. More recently, Ducati ICE has been added as a fresher, citrus-forward option that completes a trio alongside 1926 and Sport.

Ducati’s scents are positioned as accessible masculine fragrances sold mainly through mass and mid-market channels, including perfume shops, online retailers and specialized outlets. The compositions are typically contemporary blends built around citrus, aromatic herbs, lavender and woody or amber bases, aiming to mirror the energetic and adventurous image associated with the motorcycles rather than to push avant-garde perfumery boundaries.

Brand Evolution

The Ducati fragrance line started around 2010 with straightforward sporty masculines tied closely to the motorcycle brand image. Over time, the range expanded with named pillars such as Fight For Me and 1926, then moved toward a clearer segmentation with 1926, Sport and ICE covering intense, dynamic and fresh territory. The focus has remained on accessible, mass-market distribution rather than prestige positioning, with incremental tweaks rather than radical artistic shifts.

Quick Verdict

Ducati fragrances are competent, affordable sporty masculines that mainly appeal to fans of the bike brand and casual users. They are not must-try for fragrance enthusiasts seeking originality, but they deliver decent, easygoing scents for everyday wear.
