Northiverse

Northiverse is a Thai indie perfume brand created in 2024 by a small team of three young creatives: perfumer Thandol Modsang, an architect, and an artist, all in their early twenties. The project grew out of Modsang’s experimentation and ideas developed during an exchange year in Sydney in 2023, where the concept for the brand and its highly personal approach to scent first took shape.

The brand entered the market with its debut fragrance, Solar Worshipper, conceived as a conceptual composition centered on what the founder calls "solar notes." Rather than following mainstream trends, the scent is built to provoke emotional reactions and invite imaginative interpretation, aligning more with art-driven niche perfumery than commercial designer output. Industry commentary describes Northiverse explicitly as an ultra-niche brand within Thailand’s emerging fragrance scene, highlighting its focus on originality over broad market appeal.

Creative direction is led by Modsang, who prioritizes experimental structures and narrative ideas, even at the cost of mass popularity. The brand positions its fragrances almost like gallery pieces, aiming at fragrance collectors and enthusiasts who are open to challenging compositions and conceptual themes. With releases starting from 2025, Northiverse has quickly become a reference point for the new wave of very small, vision-led brands coming out of Southeast Asia.
