Emporio Armani Lui is a bittersweet symphony - a classic, classy scent that everyone loves, but its modern formulation is tragically fleeting. Once a signature, now a ghost of its former self, leaving a trail of compliments for the lucky few who catch a fleeting whiff, and a lot of frustration for everyone else.

Divisive, to put it mildly. Overdose is a true love-it-or-hate-it fragrance, with its bold, effervescent citrus opening setting the stage for a much-debated, challenging, and often off-putting ambergris drydown. Definitely not a blind buy.
