Aurelione
Note Profile
About
Warm balsamic skin musk
Scent Profile
Aurelione smells of soft, warm musk with an intimate, skin-like feel. A gentle powdery warmth opens it and settles into a balsamic musk. The faintest animal note sits beneath. It is warmer and more balsamic than a clean laundry musk.

Origin
Aurelione is Symrise's trade name for a mix of cyclohexadecenone isomers, CAS 88642-03-9, with 3100-36-5 and 2550-59-6 also listed. It is a synthetic macrocyclic ketone musk.
Usage in Perfumery
Perfumers use it as a base musk for a warm, skin-like, sensual effect. It adds radiance through the whole life of a fragrance. It lasts several months on a smelling strip, so it anchors the dry-down.
