Damiana comes from the leaves of Turnera diffusa, a shrub of Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. It has long been used as an infusion and to flavour liqueur.
Scent Profile
Sweetly herbaceous with a dried-leaf character close to hay and tobacco, a honeyed warmth and a faint fig-like sweetness underneath. It carries a juicy dried-fruit sweetness, a warm spicy note and a dry woody edge beneath the herbs.
