Donut is a gourmand accord for fried, glazed dough. It has three parts: fried dough as the body, sugar glaze on top, and vanilla or buttercream underneath. The frying sets it apart from the baked-goods notes around it. Plain and glazed builds carry no cinnamon, coffee or caramel. Cinnamon donut is a separate variant.

A rich, buttery body sits under the dough, with a light fatty edge from the frying. The browned dough adds a toasted, bready warmth. A trace of powdery icing sugar sits over all of it. Origin
There is no donut extraction. It is a fantasy accord, and each house builds its own. Typical builds put sugar, butter or sweetened milk on top, dough in the heart, and vanilla, buttercream and vanilla glaze in the base. One fine-fragrance build adds creamy sandalwood. Methyl corylone, sold under the nickname 'donut diketone', is one material used for the bready warmth.
