About
Donut is a gourmand accord for fried, glazed dough. Three commercial builds agree on the same three parts: fried dough as the body, sugar glaze on top, vanilla or buttercream underneath. The frying is what separates it from the baked-goods notes around it. Nothing here is cinnamon, coffee or caramel, which is unusual for a bakery note.
Scent Profile
Sweet_vanillic is the note. All three sources lead with sugar or glaze and all three name vanilla: 'sweet, glossy glaze', 'confectioner's sugar and rich creamy vanilla', 'sugar, vanilla, buttercream'. Lactonic is the fat. It carries two things the sources name together, the butter and buttercream, and the frying oil itself. No facet in this vocabulary means fried, so the oily warmth is folded in here, and that is the weakest join in the vector. Nutty is the browned dough and the flour, the same toasted-cereal reading used for pancake and brioche, not an actual nut. Creamy_woody is the buttercream smoothness, and Lavana names a creamy santal outright. Powdery is the icing sugar and raw flour, below the naming line but real in two of three builds.

Origin
There is no donut extraction and no manufacturer datasheet. It is a fantasy accord, and every source that describes it is a house selling its own blend. Community Candle Supply lists sugar and butter on top, baked dough in the heart, vanilla in the base. Pepper Jane's lists sweetened milk and flour, then sugar and vanilla, then fried dough, buttercream and vanilla glaze. Lavana Perfumes, a fine-fragrance house, builds the same shape and adds creamy santal. All three were fetched and confirmed. A fourth source, Premiere Peau's glossary, was tried and has no live content for this term.
Usage in Perfumery
Fragrantica records six placements. Parfumo records none. It sits in sweet gourmands next to sugar, vanilla and cream, and it is used for the fried-fat weight that a plain vanilla accord cannot carry.
