Brownie is a baked-confection accord, not a material. Both brand descriptions fetched build it the same way: cocoa powder on top, a butter-sugar-egg batter through the heart, dark chocolate ganache and vanilla in the base. Cocoa leads in both. What separates it from the published chocolate-fudge note is the nut. Fudge carries hazelnut and praline in both of its sources, and neither brownie source names a nut at all.

Built, not extracted. There is no brownie material. Demeter and Wicked Good both compose it, and Wicked Good publishes the pyramid: top cocoa powder, heart butter, sugar, creamy eggs and flour, base dark chocolate ganache and vanilla bean. Demeter gives no facet list beyond 'rich, deep and of course, chocolaty'. No aroma house publishes a brownie base, and nothing found explains in chemical terms why a baked, fudgy cocoa reads differently from raw cocoa or from vanilla.

Usage in Perfumery

A gourmand subject accord, used whole rather than as a modifier. Attested on 7 Fragrantica entries and none on Parfumo, filed under Sweets and gourmand smells. One thing a reviewer should weigh: CandleScience sells a single fragrance oil under the alternate names 'Chocolate Brownie', 'Chocolate Hazelnut' and 'Homemade Brownies', and that oil is one of the two sources behind the published chocolate-fudge note. A supplier treating both names as one product is a real argument that these two rows are close together. The measured cosine is 0.9565, which is close but under the 0.97 line.
