Hazelnut cream is a gourmand accord, not a material. It is roasted hazelnut carried on a milky, praline-sweet body. The nut leads and the cream is the texture underneath it, not a second subject. It is milkier and much less chocolatey than the published hazelnut cocoa spread, and it is nuttier and less dairy-plain than the published cream note.

CA Perfume calls it 'a creamy, roasted note with woody and praline nuances', Premiere Peau calls it 'a roasted quality that is, like freshly toasted nuts', and Aura Perfumery says 'nutty and earthy'. It is roasted and toasted rather than raw or green. Lactonic is the cream half and it is the weakest-evidenced number here. Every source bundles creaminess with the nut - 'creamy, roasted, nutty core', 'rich, creamy, and slightly sweet', 'sweet, creamy hazelnut' - but none names a separate dairy accord, so this is read from repeated adjectives rather than from a source that describes hazelnut cream as its own term. Sweet_vanillic covers the confectionery sugar: Premiere Peau's 'slightly sweet profile' and the vanillin in Olfactorian's formula. Honeyed is the 'praline caramel' that CA Perfume puts in the base, the cooked-sugar edge rather than the nut. Coffee_cacao is deliberately kept low. Chocolate and coffee turn up in three of the four sources but always as a secondary or trace layer - 'a hint of roasted coffee and chocolate', 'can also remind one of warm, nutty coffee brews'. That is the line separating this from a chocolate-hazelnut spread, where cocoa is a co-equal subject. Built, not extracted. No supplier sells a material called hazelnut cream. Olfactorian's published hazelnut accord formula names pyrazines for the roasted-nut signature, with Hedione, heliotropin and vanillin smoothing it into something creamy and faintly floral. The creamy half of the name is normally made with lactones and vanillic materials, the same route the published cream note uses. Every source found describes hazelnut in general rather than hazelnut cream, so the cream half is read from the creamy and praline language that all four sources repeat.

A gourmand heart accord. Parfumo attests it across 5 uses and 3 brands and Fragrantica does not carry it, which fits a dessert term that brands print in their own copy. CA Perfume gives it a pyramid: green and slightly milky on top, a creamy roasted nutty core, praline caramel in the base. It sits with vanilla, caramel, tonka, coffee and milk chocolate, and it is used as the subject of a fragrance rather than as a modifier of something else.
