About
Kanuka is the oil steam distilled from the foliage of Kunzea ericoides, a New Zealand myrtle. It is closely related to manuka, which is Leptospermum scoparium and a different genus. It smells light and sweetly herbaceous, with soft green freshness and a gentle cooling feel over a dry, pine-like, resinous-green body. It is milder than manuka.
