About

Pan de Muerto is the Mexican sweet bread baked for Day of the Dead. As a note it is the smell of that bread: butter and sugar in a yeasted dough, scented with orange blossom water or orange zest, and with anise. It is a bakery gourmand with a floral top, not a caramel or a milk accord.
