About

Prosecco is a constructed sparkling-wine accord. It reads drier, fruitier and less toasty than the champagne accord it is built against.

Scent Profile

Prosecco smells of ripe fruit first, apricot and passion fruit over ripe black currant. An aldehydic fizz carries the bubble on top. A sharp grapefruit citrus finish keeps it dry, over a low, wine like boozy weight. A soft floral touch and a green crispness sit around the edges, drier and fruitier than champagne.

Origin

Not a raw material. No house publishes a captive named prosecco and no natural extract of the wine exists in perfumery. The accord is assembled: aldehydes and fruity lactones supply the fizzy, sparkling sensation, and a fruit and citrus body supplies the rest.
