Sea Mist smells of cool salt air over water, an ozonic, mineral core rather than plain water. A citrus top sits over it, lemon or grapefruit depending on the blend, with a crisp green edge. A floral heart of lotus or chrysanthemum runs underneath, and the whole thing closes on driftwood and a soft, clean musk tail.

Origin
An abstract accord with no single formula and no natural extract. 'Sea Mist' is a fragrance-oil name used independently by several suppliers, so what it means is set by convergence between houses rather than by one maker. All four name a salty marine core - 'sea salt', 'ocean breeze accord' or simply 'marine' - and all four build a citrus or green-herbal top over it and a woody-musk base under it. The materials named differ house to house: lemon in one, grapefruit and bergamot in another, none in a third.
Usage in Perfumery
A heart accord for coastal and 'fresh' compositions. It differs from the published sea-water note in doing more than the water: sea-water is a near-pure aquatic and mineral statement, while sea mist carries a full citrus-floral-woody pyramid on the same marine base. Use it where a marine theme needs development rather than a single transparent effect.
