About
SugarLoaf is a white-fleshed pineapple cultivar with high sugar and low acid. It smells like pineapple with the tang taken out. Bright and juicy at the opening, then honeyed and almost caramelised, with a light floral lift and a vanilla-and-coconut roundness that ordinary pineapple does not carry.

A named pineapple cultivar of Ananas comosus, white-fleshed rather than yellow. No fragrance or flavour house publishes an odour description for SugarLoaf pineapple as a formulated material, so any perfumery use is a constructed accord built the way a plain pineapple accord is built, then sweetened and softened.
Usage in Perfumery
Use it where a pineapple note is wanted without the sharp tang. It suits tropical gourmand work, fruity-floral openings and any composition where plain pineapple reads too sour.
