Ultrazur
Note Profile
About
Fresh marine ozone with a citrus top and an ambery foot
Scent Profile
Ultrazur smells of fresh sea air and ozone. A citrus-fresh top leads into a cool, watery heart with a sparkling aldehydic lift. It settles into a salty, slightly ambery depth that holds on fabric.

Origin
Ultrazur is a Givaudan marine base. It is a blend, not a single molecule, and it has no single CAS number. Suppliers describe it as a ready-made marine accord of the kind built from dihydromyrcenol, Calone types and aldehydes.
Usage in Perfumery
Perfumers use it where a fresh, lasting ozonic note is needed. Givaudan says trace amounts already change a fragrance, and several percent give a fresh, ozonic, slightly ambery effect in laundry products. It saves building a marine accord from single materials.
