Alexandria UK Dream Catcher is an Eau de Parfum. Dream Catcher opens with Bergamot, Ginger, and Litchi, settles into a heart of Cacao Pod and Peony, and dries down to a base of Patchouli. Alexandria UK's Dream Catcher carries an Acquired verdict, a fruity-led wear.

Dream Catcher dupes Louis Vuitton's Attrape-Reves, chasing its lychee-peony-cocoa signature. It is sweeter and more straightforward than the original's dreamy, layered composition, with a simpler dry-down, but a fair budget route into that fruity-gourmand floral territory.

About

Dream Catcher opens with juicy lychee brightened by ginger and bergamot, a fizzy, playful entrance that echoes the fruity sparkle of Attrape-Reves. The heart moves into cocoa and peony, a slightly unusual pairing that captures some of the original's whimsical, dreamlike character, though it leans sweeter and less airy here than Louis Vuitton's more polished, transparent original. Where Attrape-Reves builds a genuinely layered, almost narrative development, Dream Catcher settles more quickly into its patchouli base, giving a warm, soft, gourmand-leaning finish rather than continuing to evolve. It is an easy, likeable scent for daytime wear, unpretentious and pleasant rather than a note-for-note match, and it performs reasonably well for the price with a few hours of noticeable presence before fading to skin. Fans of the fruity-floral-gourmand genre who cannot justify Louis Vuitton pricing will find this a reasonable, if simplified, entry point.
