AMD Perfumes Layan is an Eau de Toilette launched in 2025. Layan opens with Fresh Notes and Powdery, settles into a heart of Floral Notes and Animalic, and dries down to a base of Musk and Oud. AMD Perfumes's Layan carries a Statement verdict, a floral-led wear.

Layan by AMD Perfumes isn't for the faint of heart - it's a bold, almost animalic floral that demands attention. Some will find it intoxicatingly unique; others, a bit much. Definitely sample before you commit.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

Its floral, musky and fresh composition leans towards spring.

With its potent floral and animalic accords, Layan is probably too intense for the office or a casual daytime outing. This is a scent best reserved for evenings out, particularly dates or formal events where its unique character can truly shine without overwhelming.

About

Layan opens with a deceptive freshness, immediately followed by a soft, almost ethereal powder. This gentle introduction quickly gives way to a dominant floral heart, rich and blooming, but underpinned by a powerful, sensual animalic current. The dry down settles into a deep, earthy musk, intertwined with the dark, woody mystery of oud, creating a compelling and complex scent trail.
