Mod Blush Body Mist

Mod Blush Body Mist is the 236ml version of the 2022 Eau de Parfum by Frank Voelkl, the same composition sprayed at a much lower concentration. It opens tart and fizzy, with raspberry and passionfruit giving a sharp fruit-juice brightness, Italian bergamot keeping it from turning syrupy and pink pepper adding a peppery sparkle across the top. That opening is the shortest-lived part, which matters more in a mist than in the Eau de Parfum. The heart is where it settles and where it is best: dewy rose petals and magnolia give a soft, slightly powdery floral, and pear threads a cool juiciness through them so the flowers never read old-fashioned. The drydown is the Voelkl signature, with Dreamwood and Ambrox providing a smooth, radiant woody-amber warmth and a clean musk plus sandalwood rounding it into something skin-like and creamy. In mist form it wears close and briefly, an hour or two at best, so treat it as a refresher or as a layering base under the matching Eau de Parfum. It suits spring and summer days, is entirely office-safe, and is easy on anyone who finds the sweeter Mod Vanilla too much. Good value for the format.
