Mandorla is Aromara's Extrait interpretation of Acqua di Parma's Mandorlo di Sicilia, a creamy almond gourmand built around the Sicilian confectionery note the original is named for. The top opens on almond and bergamot, warm and slightly nutty, close to the original's signature marzipan-adjacent opening. Orange blossom and heliotrope carry the heart, giving a soft, powdery floral lift, though it reads sweeter and less restrained than Acqua di Parma's more polished Mediterranean sensibility, which tends to keep sweetness in check with citrus brightness. The base of vanilla, tonka bean and musk leans into full gourmand territory, comforting and cozy rather than the lighter touch the original applies, making this dupe read as a slightly more indulgent, less understated version of the same almond-floral idea. At 35% extrait it holds its warm, sweet character for hours, well suited to cool-weather wear where a comforting almond-vanilla scent is the goal.
