Aromers Gentleman Reserve is an Extrait de Parfum. Gentleman Reserve opens with Vetiver and Pink Pepper, settles into a heart of Cedar and Lavender, and dries down to a base of Cedar and Labdanum. Aromers's Gentleman Reserve carries a Favourite verdict, a amber-led wear.

Reworks Givenchy's whisky-and-iris Gentleman Réserve Privée into a more conventional woody-spicy fougère, trading the boozy signature for pink pepper and labdanum.

About

Aromers' take opens with pink pepper and vetiver, moves through a cedar and lavandin heart, and lands on a spiced wood-and-labdanum base. It borrows the confident, boardroom-ready mood of Gentleman Réserve Privée but leaves out the whisky absolute and orris that make the original genuinely distinctive, landing instead as a solid, generic woody-spicy fougère. It performs reasonably well for an office or evening scent and the labdanum base gives it staying power, but connoisseurs of the original's boozy signature will notice the gap immediately.
