About

17 Oud Mosaic begins with darkly spiced plum, cardamom and pepper, a jammy and peppery opening that gives way quickly to a prominent rose. Saffron and labdanum add resinous depth and a leathery warmth to the heart. An animalic oud accord then takes centre stage, bold and with a distinct, almost earthy-skin edge, before the scent dries to a musky amber that still carries the oud-rose character. Wear is moderate in length and reach. A dark rose-oud that asks for some taste for the animalic, and rewards it.
