Electimuss Octavian is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2020, created by Christian Provenzano. Octavian opens with Pink Pepper and Saffron, and settles into a heart of Rose and Frankincense. Electimuss's Octavian carries an Acquired verdict, a oud-led wear.

This one's a proper love-it-or-hate-it affair. Expect a potent, traditional rose-oud experience that some will adore for its quality and beastly performance, while others will find it too 'barnyard' or just plain unpleasant. Definitely sniff before you splurge.

About

Octavian opens with a confrontational blast of animalic oud, sharpened by spicy pink pepper and saffron. As that initial skank dissipates, a rich, jammy rose emerges, intertwined with smoky frankincense, creating a deep, resonant heart. The drydown settles into an ambery, woody base, with the oud mellowing to a more refined, dry character.
