Comporta Perfumes A Olhar Trancoso is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2020. A Olhar Trancoso opens with Coconut Water, Sea Water, Lime, and Mint, settles into a heart of Tiare Flower, Monoï, and Water Accord, and dries down to a base of Woody and Musk. Comporta Perfumes's A Olhar Trancoso carries a Statement verdict, a coconut-led wear.

Comporta's holiday scent in the most literal sense: coconut water and green lime over a monoi tiare heart, kept thin and cool rather than creamy. A beach fragrance with the sunscreen sweetness dialled almost all the way down.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Spring Summer

Coconut water, sea freshness, green lime and mint are all heat-activated notes that read as refreshment; in cold air the watery accents lose their lift and the thin wood-and-musk base has little to fall back on.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Casual
Also Works:
Date

It is a daytime holiday scent by construction, so it suits casual warm-weather wear and relaxed dates; the coconut-tiare signature is too obviously leisure-coded for formalwear.

About

A Olhar Trancoso takes the coconut-and-tiare idea that usually reads as suntan lotion and drains most of the sugar out of it. The opening is coconut water rather than coconut flesh, so it lands watery and faintly milky instead of rich, and green lime plus mint cut across it with a proper citrus bite. That mint is the reason the first ten minutes feel cooler than the notes suggest on paper. The heart brings watery fruit and tiare flower in its monoi form, which is where the fragrance gets its softness, though it stays translucent rather than turning into a creamy floral. Wood and musk close it out quietly and do most of the work of keeping it on skin. At the brand's stated 18 per cent concentration it is denser than the airy profile implies, but the projection is still moderate and polite, and it sits close after the first hour or two. This is a hot-weather fragrance first and a holiday fragrance second, and it makes very little sense in cold air, where the watery notes go flat. Wear it in high summer, on a beach or in a city that is behaving like one, and treat it as a daytime scent. For anyone who likes the tropical lane but finds most coconut fragrances too sweet and too heavy, this is the restrained version of that idea.
