Poppy & Peach Body Mist

Poppy & Peach is the fruitiest thing in Coup de Coeur's mist range and the one that needs the least explaining. Tangerine leads, bright and slightly fizzy, with melon and blackcurrant behind it, so the opening has both a watery sweetness and a tart edge. The heart is stone fruit: apricot and peach, velvety rather than syrupy, with jasmine threaded through to stop the whole thing reading as squash. The base is soft and undemanding, a light musk with vanilla and a woody warmth underneath that gives the fruit somewhere to land. The poppy of the name is a scene-setter rather than a note; poppies barely smell, and the brand's own copy frames it as walking through an orchard beside a poppy field rather than claiming a poppy accord. As a mist it behaves like a mist. It sits close, it is gone in an hour or two, and it will not survive a hot commute, so spray generously and top up. That makes it a good bag-carry for summer, a good post-gym reset, and an easy first fragrance for a teenager. It is entirely inoffensive in an office. Vegan and not tested on animals, per the brand.
