Eden Perfumes No.256 CH Men is an Eau de Parfum. No.256 CH Men opens with Bergamot, Lemon, and Grass, settles into a heart of Jasmine, Violet, Nutmeg, and Saffron, and dries down to a base of Suede, Cashmere Wood, Sugar, and Amber. Eden Perfumes's No.256 CH Men carries a Statement verdict, a warm spicy-led wear.

Carolina Herrera's CH Men is a modern grapefruit-and-saffron oriental spicy over a cashmere wood and leather base. Eden's No.256 keeps a similar citrus-to-spice-to-woods arc but with a sweeter, sugared amber base than the original's drier cashmere-leather finish - a softer, more generic take on the fragrance.

About

No.256 is Eden's vegan, cruelty-free alternative to Carolina Herrera's CH Men, released in 2009 as the men's companion to CH Women. The original opens with grapefruit and lavender, moves through saffron, cyclamen and violet leaf, and settles on cashmere wood, amber and leather - a modern, slightly sweet oriental spicy that became a mainstream signature scent. This version follows a comparable citrus-to-spice path, opening on bergamot, lemon and grass before a saffron-nutmeg-violet heart, and closing on a broad woody-amber base that layers oakmoss, vanilla, vegan suede, sugar, vetiver, sandalwood and cashmere wood. That wider base makes it read sweeter and less refined than Herrera's tighter leather-cashmere finish, though the overall silhouette is recognisable. Longevity is decent for the format, with moderate projection that settles close to skin after the first hour. Works well for office wear and daytime through the cooler months, and holds up reasonably into evening or date settings.
