This aftershave version of Eden Perfumes' No.207 is inspired by Chopard's Oud Malaki, a niche release known for its smoky tobacco-leather heart wrapped around dark oud and ambergris. Eden's take opens with saffron and cinnamon, a warmer and more immediately spicy start than the citrus-lavender opening of the original, which means the dupe reads bolder from the first spray rather than easing in gradually. The heart settles into tobacco and leather, the two notes Eden's own product copy singles out as the scent's defining character, and this is genuinely the part of the composition that tracks closest to Chopard's original. The base brings oud and amber together for a warm, resinous finish, though it lacks the dark woodsy complexity that gives the real Oud Malaki its cult following among niche oud fans. As an aftershave rather than a full EDP, longevity and projection are naturally more restrained, closer to a few hours of noticeable presence before fading to skin level. It works best for evening wear or formal occasions where a smoky, spiced oud accord is wanted without the price tag of the Chopard original.
