Ghalati Silk Essence is an Eau de Toilette launched in 2025, created by Miroslav Petkov. Silk Essence opens with Bergamot, Lemon, Orange, and Mandarin, settles into a heart of Cypriol Oil Or Nagarmotha, Leather, Rose, and Benzoin, and dries down to a base of Oud, Vanilla, and Caramel. Ghalati's Silk Essence carries an Acquired verdict, a amber-led wear.

Skip this one. It's a muddled mess of clashing notes, trying to do too much and failing spectacularly. The concept of 'silk essence' is completely lost in the discordant chaos.

The bold and heavily animalic, oud-forward profile makes this entirely unsuitable for office wear or casual daytime use. It leans towards evening events, although its challenging nature means it's not a safe bet for a date or formal gathering.

About

Silk Essence kicks off with a confusing cocktail of sharp citrus and sickly sweet pineapple, making a jarring entrance. This quickly tumbles into a heavy, leathery rose that feels out of place, battling with an insistent oud and a vaguely sweet, resinous undertone. The drydown attempts to smooth things out with vanilla and caramel, but the aggressive oud is still stomping all over the delicate sweetness, leaving a rather muddy and unrefined impression of cloying synthetic amber.
