Hamidi Shaghuf is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2023. Shaghuf opens with Salt and Sea Water, settles into a heart of Rose and Praline, and dries down to a base of Amber Xtreme, Patchouli, and Vanilla. Hamidi's Shaghuf carries an Acquired verdict, a marine-led wear.

Shaghuf is a bewildering beast - a marine-gourmand mashup that’s either an acquired taste or a baffling experiment. This one divides opinion sharp down the middle, so you'll either love its bizarre charm or absolutely loathe it.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Spring Fall

Its marine, amber and vanilla composition leans towards spring and autumn.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Date
Also Works:
Casual

Its bold, polarising nature and strong projection make it unsuitable for office wear, but it could work for a daring date night. The odd marine-gourmand blend might suit an evening casual outing, but it’s too heavy for anything active.

About

It kicks off with a bracing, almost industrial blast of salty marine notes, like catching a whiff of sea spray and something a bit too… manufactured. That odd opening quickly gives way to a bizarre heart of sweet praline and a syrupy, jammy rose. It's a clash; salty sea meeting a dessert trolley. As it dries down, a heavy vanilla and patchouli combination emerges, backed by Amber Xtreme, leaving a dense, sweet, almost cloying finish that clings to the skin.
