Rosa Ataraxis III: Black Rose

Black Rose is the third chapter in Hunayn's Rosa Ataraxis series. The brand centres it on vintage Indian rose and a specially composed black-rose accord, with Mysore sandalwood, black musk and golden and black ambergris adding depth. Taifi and Centifolia rose bring contrast, while cinnamon, saffron, cardamom, benzoin and geranium add spice and resin. The brand tells the story of the opening and drydown, but the thirteen notes are given as one list, so no separate top, heart and base is claimed. The written accounts are few but detailed. One wearer describes a complex, luminous rose that changes from shadow to light, calling it a rose made midnight. A short statement says the spices, geranium and cardamom bring out the darker facet.
