Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Fall Winter

A cold-weather scent - best worn in autumn and winter.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Casual
Also Works:
Date Formal

With its moderate sillage and long-lasting nature, Serin is versatile, but its unique and sometimes challenging character might be too bold for some office environments. It shines best in casual or date settings, especially in autumn, where its warm, earthy notes can be appreciated without overwhelming.

Declarable allergens

We derive these from the materials behind this fragrance's notes, not from the bottle. Each one is likely, not confirmed. The list is partial - the box can name others.

In standard patch-test panels

  • Geraniol from Rose

Other declarable allergens

  • Sandalwood Santalol from Sandalwood
  • Spearmint Mentha Viridis Leaf Oil from Mint
  • Spearmint Mentha Viridis Leaf Oil from Mint
  • Synthetic musk Hexamethylindanopyran from Musk

The large name is the everyday one. The small name is the INCI form on the box, so you can compare the two. Reactions differ between people. A patch-test panel is not a ranking of risk. How we derive this

About

Serin opens with a compelling, almost medicinal herbal freshness from marigold and a cool hint of mint, quickly evolving into a rich, smoky core. Cypriol and guaiac wood lend an earthy, woody depth, often described as dry and balsamic, rather than a traditional incense. As it settles, subtle florals like champaca and rose intertwine with a musky sandalwood base, creating a smooth, rounded finish that clings to the skin.
