Jubilee Scents CHL124 Chloé Parfums is an Eau de Parfum. CHL124 Chloé Parfums opens with Hyacinth, Bergamot, Honeysuckle, and Peach, settles into a heart of Rose, Jasmine, Orris, and Tuberose, and dries down to a base of Musk, Amber, Cedar, and Sandalwood. Jubilee Scents's CHL124 Chloé Parfums carries a Statement verdict, a floral-led wear.

CHL124 revives the vintage 1975 Chloe formula that fans have been unable to buy for decades, and long-time wearers say it smells just like the original they remember, though the big aldehydic tuberose bouquet is toned down from the original's more concentrated, old-fashioned intensity.

About

The original 1975 Chloe, created for the house's Karl Lagerfeld-era Parfums Chloe line, is remembered as one of the most beautiful multi-faceted floral fragrances of its decade, a lush aldehydic bouquet of tuberose, hyacinth, orange flower and jasmine over an oakmoss-amber base. It has been out of production for years, and Jubilee's CHL124 has become a lifeline for devoted fans. One reviewer, who says they've worn the original for almost fifty years, called this dupe 'perfect' now that the real thing is discontinued. The florals are all present and correctly proportioned, with a peach-honeysuckle opening leading into the tuberose-jasmine-rose heart the original is loved for. What's dialled back is intensity: the vintage original was a concentrated, old-fashioned aldehyde built for a different era of perfumery, and CHL124 is a gentler, more contemporary-strength take on that same bouquet, better suited to daily wear than to recreating the original's full vintage punch.
