Jubilee Scents Oligarch is an Eau de Parfum. Oligarch opens with Bergamot, Lemon, Lime, and Lavender, settles into a heart of Orange Blossom, Jasmine, Blackcurrant, and Coconut, and dries down to a base of Musk, Leather, Cedar, and Patchouli. Jubilee Scents's Oligarch carries a Statement verdict, a citrus-led wear.

Jubilee's take on Roja Dove's Oligarch keeps the citrus-chypre skeleton recognisable, but the dense birch-leather-oakmoss base that gives the original its intensity comes through much lighter, so this reads as a cheerful daytime citrus rather than the imposing original.

About

Roja Dove's Oligarch is a maximalist citrus chypre with a dense base of birch, leather, oakmoss and patchouli that gives it real heft and longevity, and Jubilee's dupe understandably scales that ambition down. The lemon, bergamot and lime opening is bright and true to the original's crisp citrus burst, and the orange blossom and black currant heart carries a recognisable sweetness. The multi-note base, however, is simplified considerably: the birch, leather and oakmoss are present but faint, and the composition settles into a soft woody-musk finish well before the original's slow, resinous unfolding. It's an approachable, easier-to-wear citrus rather than a serious attempt at Roja's signature intensity.
