Jubilee Scents RL195 Polo Green is an Eau de Parfum. RL195 Polo Green opens with Caraway, Bergamot, Coriander, and Juniper, settles into a heart of Leather, Pine, Rose, and Jasmine, and dries down to a base of Musk, Amber, Cedar, and Vetiver. Jubilee Scents's RL195 Polo Green carries an Acquired verdict, a green-led wear.

This is the classic 1978 Polo formula, prized by vintage fans for its sharp green-herbal opening and leather-oakmoss base, and RL195 does a solid job of bringing that old-school chypre character back - the dupe's herbal top is a shade less complex than the original's dense, near-fifty-note pyramid.

About

RL195 recreates the original 1978-era Polo formula rather than the newer, lighter modern releases, opening with a sharp, herbal blend of juniper berries, artemisia, caraway, basil, coriander and bergamot. Pine needles, leather, chamomile, pepper, carnation, geranium, jasmine and rose build a dense green-floral heart before the fragrance settles into tobacco, oakmoss, patchouli, cedar, vetiver, musk and amber - the classic woody-chypre base that made vintage Polo a benchmark of 1970s and 80s masculine perfumery. This dupe captures that old-school green-leather character well, though the top notes come through simpler and less layered than the genuinely dense original pyramid, and the oakmoss reads a touch more generic-woody than the real thing's distinctive mossy-earthy complexity. Longevity and richness are strong for the price, making this a good way to experience the classic Polo formula for anyone priced out of vintage bottles. Best worn in cooler weather where its dense, leathery green character has room to develop.
