Jeu d'Amour Félin

by Christophe Raynaud , Daphné Bugey

Kenzo Jeu d'Amour Félin is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2017, created by Christophe Raynaud and Daphné Bugey. The fragrance opens with Strawberry and Clementine, settles into a heart of Jasmine, Peony, and Tuberose, and dries down to a base of Patchouli, Musk, and Amber.

Our verdict on Jeu d'Amour Félin: Acquired

This flanker struggles to define itself, ending up a bit of a meh-pile. It tries too hard to be grown-up and mysterious but just delivers a mishmash of sweet fruit and patchouli that doesn't quite work for everyone. A bit of a wallflower, sadly.

Fall Winter

A cold-weather scent - best worn in autumn and winter.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Date
Also Works:
Casual

Given its sweet, syrupy opening and warm amber-patchouli base, this scent leans towards evening wear and cooler seasons. While some find it subtle, others experience it as heavy, making it less ideal for a professional office setting or formal events. It's best suited for dates or casual outings where its warm, gourmand fruity notes can shine without being obtrusive.

About

Imagine indulging in candied strawberries and bright clementine, swiftly followed by a creamy, slightly indolic white floral bouquet of tuberose and jasmine. The base settles into a warm, musky amber with a persistent, earthy patchouli that attempts to add depth and seriousness. It’s a sweet, syrupy journey with a hint of dark fruit and a clean musk finish.
