Luxe Fragrances Nomad is an Eau de Parfum. Nomad opens with Geranium and Raspberry, settles into a heart of Rose and Saffron, and dries down to a base of Oud, Benzoin, and Incense. Luxe Fragrances's Nomad carries an Acquired verdict, a oud-led wear.

Luxe Fragrances' Nomad follows Louis Vuitton's Ombre Nomade well - raspberry and rose into saffron, closing on agarwood, benzoin and incense. Genuinely smoky-oud in character, but with a fraction of the original's legendary sillage.

About

Nomad is Luxe Fragrances' budget take on Louis Vuitton's Ombre Nomade (2018), Jacques Cavallier Belletrud's smoky rose-oud composition regarded as one of the most successful designer oud fragrances ever released. The pyramid matches well: raspberry and geranium open with a fruity-green lift, rose and saffron build a rich floral-spiced heart, and agarwood, benzoin and incense close on the smoky, resinous depth that defines the original's identity. The smoky-oud character genuinely comes through here in a way many budget oud dupes miss, and the rose-raspberry heart is a recognisable echo of the real thing. Where the divergence is unavoidable is scale - Ombre Nomade is famous for a legendary twelve-to-sixteen hour wear with genuinely room-filling projection built from expensive oud materials, while this version's smoky-resinous base is noticeably lighter and settles to skin far sooner. A worthwhile way to experience the smoky rose-oud direction that made Ombre Nomade a modern cult classic, at a fraction of the LV price.
