M.Micallef Les 4 Saisons: Yellow Sea is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2008, created by Jean-Claude Astier. Les 4 Saisons: Yellow Sea opens with Bergamot, Lime, and Tangerine, settles into a heart of Virginia Cedarwood, Patchouli, and Incense, and dries down to a base of Amber, Castoreum, and Benzoin. M.Micallef's Les 4 Saisons: Yellow Sea carries an Acquired verdict, a musk-led wear.

A citrus opening that gives way to a dark, resinous woody base. It starts fresh and ends warm and a little animalic, a good choice for a man who wants more depth than a standard fresh scent.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Les 4 Saisons: Yellow Sea opens with lime, bergamot and tangerine, a sharp and zesty citrus start. The heart turns woody and resinous with Virginia cedarwood, patchouli and incense. Benzoin, amber and castoreum make up the base, adding sweetness, warmth and an animalic edge. It moves from bright and fresh to dark and warm, a woody amber scent with citrus on top.
