Molinard Acqua Lotus is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2014, created by Mathieu Nardin and Michèle Saramito. Acqua Lotus opens with Red Berries, Sea Water, Lemon, and Pepper, settles into a heart of Floral, Rose, and Jasmine, and dries down to a base of Musk, Cedar, and Sandalwood. Molinard's Acqua Lotus carries an Acquired verdict, a woody-led wear.

This one's a proper head-scratcher. Some reckon it's a unique, airy delight, a real signature scent, but just as many find it a rather odd, even stale, aquatic mess. Definitely not a blind buy.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Spring Summer

A warm-weather pick - at its best in spring and summer.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Office Casual
Also Works:
Sport

Its fresh, clean, and often subtle projection makes it suitable for office wear and casual outings. However, the divisive aquatic and pepper combination means it's less ideal for formal events or intimate dates where mass appeal is key.

About

Acqua Lotus opens with a bracing splash of sea notes and zesty lemon, quickly followed by a sharp kick of blackcurrant and pepper. As it settles, a clean, watery floral heart of jasmine and rose emerges, though some find it reads more like water lilies. The dry down is a soft, woody, musky affair, leaving a clean yet somewhat subdued trail.
