Ô Médina Perfumery My Bakhoor is a perfume oil. My Bakhoor settles into a heart of Rose, and dries down to a base of Resins and Oud. Ô Médina Perfumery's My Bakhoor carries a Statement verdict, a floral-led wear.

An attar that turns the smell of bakhoor incense into a perfume oil. The house describes agarwood resin, resins and roses in a woody, resinous scent, in a 7ml unisex bottle.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

When To Wear

Best Seasons

Best For:
Fall Winter

Resins, agarwood and an incense feel are dense and warm, so autumn and winter are the natural seasons. They would weigh heavy in hot weather.

Best Occasions

Best For:
Formal
Also Works:
Date Casual

A resinous incense oil suits evenings, gatherings and special occasions more than the office. The house frames it for a warm atmosphere at a gathering.

About

My Bakhoor is an attar from Ô Médina Perfumery, the Grenoble house that sells its own perfumes from its shop. It is a perfume oil, not an incense, and not a bakhoor to burn. The house describes it as the essence of incense turned into a natural perfume, with notes of wood, roses and resins, and a resinous, timeless character. In the house's words it keeps the purity of natural ingredients such as agarwood resin and scented oils, and it evokes oriental traditions. It sums the scent up as a mix of resin and wood, with subtle nuances of wood, resins and roses. No pyramid is published, so rose is placed in the heart, with agarwood and resins in the base by their usual roles. It is sold in a 7ml bottle as part of the house's Attar collection, for men and women, and the shop calls it a limited edition. No concentration or wear-time figures are given, and as an attar it is normally dabbed on the pulse points. No independent wearer reviews were found, so the scores follow the house's claims and the oil format.
