About

Gigi is another Olivine Atelier Classic perfume oil, sold in 15 ml and 5 ml roll-on formats. Julie Wray is credited as perfumer, and it shares its scent with the house's Eau de Parfum. It opens in a burst of fruit: pear, papaya and bergamot, juicy and a little tropical, with a snap of citrus to keep them from drooping. Ylang-ylang and gardenia follow, creamy and floral, and the ylang-ylang is especially prominent. Green tea adds a cool, slightly bitter freshness in the middle. The base is soft: vanilla, sandalwood and musk, all gentle. They do not weigh it down. They just keep a warm, creamy skin scent after the fruit has faded. Wear varies from person to person. On some skins it carries clearly and lasts the day, on others it stays close for a few hours, so a middle rating is fair. It leans very sweet and tropical, which some will love and some will find too sugary. It suits spring and summer, daytime and light evenings, and fans of fruity florals.
