Carriage opens crisp and cool - a bright mint lifted by bergamot, instantly recalling the original's energetic, almost gum-like freshness. As it settles, a soft patchouli and vetiver bring a green, slightly earthy heart. The base reaches for the rich, full-bodied finish that set Roadster apart, with vanilla and a touch of french labdanum adding warmth. Compared to the Cartier, this Perfume Parlour interpretation leans even fresher and sharper at the top, while the distinctive contrast of cool mint against a deep, smooth patchouli-vanilla base is flattened into something more straightforward and generically woody, and it doesn't cling as long. Still, it's a clean, energetic mint-fougere that makes an excellent fresh daily and office scent for warmer days.
