Clear Green follows Ralph Lauren Pure Turquoise: a fresh, dewy opening of cassis, violet petals, lily of the valley and crisp cactus flower, green and luminous. The heart is a delicate white-floral bouquet - night-blooming cereus, orange flower, Bulgarian rose and lily - pretty and feminine. Beneath it runs the chypre signature: a smoky, woody undercurrent of patchouli and silver birchwood warmed by amber and bourbon vanilla. Against the original, owners say the PP take captures the essence well but develops a little differently - the designer wears greener and sharper, while this version sits more balanced and rounded, reading slightly sweeter and simpler. Pure Turquoise was a strong performer (6-12 hours); this dupe wears lighter and shorter as a budget oil.
