The heart brings the original's signature contrast: a spicy ginger warming a clean aromatic lavender, with a touch of rosewood for a green, fougere-leaning lift. The base settles into dry teak and ebony woods, lending the warm, faintly musky woody finish that grounds the 2009 original. Lacoste Challenge is well known for weak performance as an eau de toilette - moderate at best, often fading inside a couple of hours with low projection - so this EDP rendering offers a practical edge, holding the same fresh-aromatic signature with slightly more presence on the skin.
