Evening Blossom

Perfume Parlour Evening Blossom is an Eau de Parfum launched in 2016. Evening Blossom opens with Ginger, Mandarin, and Pepper, settles into a heart of Quince, Jasmine, and Orange Blossom, and dries down to a base of Patchouli, Cashmeran, and Amberwood. Perfume Parlour's Evening Blossom carries a Statement verdict, a floral-led wear.

Evening Blossom chases BDK Parfums Pas Ce Soir, the indolic jasmine-and-patchouli niche floral. The sugary quince-jasmine heart over a spicy wood-patchouli base is faithful, and Perfume Parlour's better-than-budget longevity is actually a plus given the original's notoriously short staying power.

About

BDK Parfums Pas Ce Soir is a sophisticated niche floral - a sugary pear-quince and ginger opening that blooms into a heady, indolic Moroccan jasmine and orange blossom, settling over cashmeran, amberwood and Singapore patchouli. Its one flaw is famously poor longevity. Evening Blossom recreates that lush floral signature closely. It opens with a spicy lift of ginger, mandarin and black pepper, then dives into a sweet quince and rich, almost intoxicating jasmine with creamy orange blossom. The base brings cashmeran, amberwood and a spicy patchouli for depth. Perfume Parlour's version reads slightly sweeter and less refined in the indolic jasmine, but it holds the structure well - and crucially, its drydown clings longer than the original's, which often vanishes within two hours. A sophisticated, sensual jasmine floral for spring and cooler-weather evenings and dates.
