Perfume Parlour Extreme Purple For Women is an Eau de Parfum. Extreme Purple For Women dries down to a base of Vanilla and Ambergris. Perfume Parlour's Extreme Purple For Women carries a Statement verdict, a musk-led wear.

Perfume Parlour's Extreme Purple For Women is built on Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet: a pimento and capsicum opening, a Japanese osmanthus heart, and a base of ambergris and vanilla. A short pyramid, so expect a simpler, cleaner take on the Y2K original.

Top, heart and base are the brand's own listing, not a timing claim - the industry classifies a note by its character as much as by how fast it fades. Each curve here is modelled from that material's own volatility, so groups can overlap when a house lists long-lasting materials in its heart.

About

Extreme Purple For Women is Perfume Parlour's take on the women's Ultraviolet by Paco Rabanne. The house calls it a floral oriental with a strong but warm amber note that is never animalic or heavy, and a woody part freshened by pimento. Its pyramid is short. The top is fresh pimento and capsicum, the heart is Japanese kinmokusei (osmanthus), and the base is ambergris and vanilla. The house also mentions violet, rose and jasmine in the flower bouquet. Reviewers of the original describe a peppery opening, an apricot-like osmanthus and a warm vanilla-amber finish, with a futuristic Y2K feel. With fewer listed notes than the designer, this version should come across cleaner and more linear, with the osmanthus and vanilla carrying most of the wear. It suits cooler evenings and comes in 13, 30, 50 and 100 ml.
