Fig Whisper opens just where Phlur's Father Figure lives, a fresh, slightly green fig laced with dewy cassis and airy water lily, clean and lightly fruity. The heart adds gentle elegance with iris and orris root softened by a touch of jasmine, keeping the composition balanced and refined rather than heavy. It settles into a warm, comforting base of sandalwood, musk, Madagascar vanilla and patchouli for a creamy, soft woody finish. Set beside the original, the Perfume Parlour interpretation pushes the fig a touch sweeter and renders the watery, skin-like quality slightly more straightforward, but the gap is small because Father Figure itself is a soft, intimate scent. Performance follows suit: where the original is famous for sitting close and fading fast, this dupe behaves much the same, a quiet skin scent that may need a top-up. For a few pounds it captures that clean, soft green-fig elegance convincingly for everyday wear.
