Hooked follows Calvin Klein's Obsessed For Men, opening fresh and aromatic with lavender, lemon, cardamom, Sichuan pepper and grapefruit. A heart of juicy pineapple, geranium, leather, labdanum and cedar adds a fruity-leathery twist before a modern amber base of cinnamon, amberwood, ambroxan, patchouli and black vanilla husk drives the dry-down. The original is an aromatic-spicy designer with a warm, sensual, slightly fruity-leathery feel and strong room-filling sillage. This clone keeps that ambroxan-forward spicy-leather signature and the bright opening, but pushes the pepper and citrus a little louder up top while the ambery base reads simpler and projects closer to the skin, giving solid but shorter wear.
