La Veectus is an emulsion of two popular men's scents, and it shows: the opening pairs the fresh grapefruit-and-marine zest of Invictus with the warm, spicy cardamom of La Nuit de l'Homme. The heart leans into La Nuit's smooth, powdery signature of lavender, cedar and bergamot, while the base blends guaiac wood, vetiver and amber for a versatile woody-aromatic close. The result is a clever bridge between a sporty aquatic and a seductive spicy-woody - fresh enough for daytime, refined enough for an evening out. As with most Perfume Parlour fusions, both source DNAs are rendered more two-dimensional and skin-close than the designer originals, with the freshness and the spiced woods each thinner and quicker to fade.
