Night of Volt opens crisp and electric - a juicy green apple accord lifted by lemon and mandarin, the bright start that defines the Eau Electrique flanker. An aromatic heart of lavender, geranium and sage follows, edged with soft orange blossom, before a sweet-woody base of cashmere wood, vetiver, patchouli, cedar, tonka and vanilla warms it down. Against the YSL original the dupe reads a touch flatter and less refined: the clean, modern interplay of fresh apple, herbal lavender and creamy sweetness is simplified. Of the La Nuit flankers, Eau Electrique is the strong performer, so this budget version trims that longevity noticeably. It wears as a confident, contemporary fresh-aromatic masculine - versatile across spring, summer and autumn and suited to casual days, the office, dates and easy evenings. Projection is modest and longevity skin-close after the opening hours. As a smell-alike it captures the apple-lavender-sweet-woods character of LNDH Electrique while losing some of the polish and tenacity.
