It opens cool and clean - salty, mineral and a little dewy, with violet leaf giving that signature rainy-day shimmer the original is known for. The heart brings aromatic sage with a touch of ginger, leaning fresh and slightly green, before settling into a woody base of vetiver and soft woods. On the original this all reads as a smooth, versatile fresh-woody-sweet; here the impression is recognisable but less convincing through the heart, and community feedback is more mixed than for most PP dupes - one wearer found it smelled close in the bottle but drifted off-course once sprayed, with only the drydown landing near the Valentino. It also sits flatter and fades sooner than the original's already-moderate six-to-seven-hour wear.
