The drydown turns indulgent and cosy with more oud, sweet praline and warm vanilla, leaving a sensual, gourmand-leaning trail. Against the original the Perfume Parlour version reads a touch flatter, the leathery-jammy rose-oud interplay less three-dimensional, and the longevity falls short of Shaghaf Oud's near-legendary staying power, settling closer to the skin rather than radiating all day.
