Where Escada's Fiesta Carioca kept the fruit airy and translucent, Perfume Parlour pushes the sweetness up and the freshness down, so the opening reads juicier but a touch more synthetic. The heart brings a soft floral wash of jasmine and orange blossom around a tropical passion-flower accent, never heavy and quickly folded into the fruit. The drydown is a light musky-woody close of cedar, benzoin and clean musk that stays close to the skin.
